Abstract
The article presents an overview of the most common polymeric materials for shoe soles, as well as an analysis of their physical and mechanical properties. To solve the tasks set, modern techniques for measuring physical and mechanical properties were used. The research results were compared and contrasted with the requirements of the standards and known theoretical data of other authors.
