Abstract
The article discusses socio-cultural situation with the search for approaches to the preservation and development of library activities. The problem of the exodus of readers from libraries has been studied. The opinion of readers about the resumption of visiting libraries is analyzed. The change in the system of library resources and library work is indicated. A sociological survey of the library staff was carried out. The design and construction of leather goods for mobile devices has been developed.
