Annotation
The expediency of using electroslag crucible remelting for the manufacture of castings from mediumalloy steels in small batches is substantiated. The design of the melting unit has been developed, taking into account the peculiarities of the electroslag crucible remelting process. The results of tests of the operability of the design of the drive of the melting unit and technological equipment for casting into a metal mold with a two-phase laminated flow for the manufacture of castings of a given shape and size are presented.
