This study examines the social and ethical role of the designer as a mediator between tradition and modernity. The proposed strategies aim to create a sustainable model of design practice in which innovation is combined with cultural memory, and heritage is given new life through a contemporary visual language. Meaningful integration of cultural heritage requires the designer not to borrow form, but to understand the internal logic, context, and value of a cultural phenomenon. This approach enables the generation of not only original but also meaningfully rich, emotionally charged projects capable of engaging with the audience on a metaphorical and semantic level. An analysis of contemporary practices reveals successful strategies for integrating cultural heritage into branding, packaging, digital media, and other areas of graphic design, as well as common mistakes that lead to the loss of cultural identity or the emergence of kitsch.
