Slutsk belts represent the pinnacle of Belarusian weaving art and serve as a significant monument of global artistic culture. At the current stage, thanks to the implementation of the State Program for the Revival of the Technologies and Traditions of Slutsk Belt Manufacturing, a unique production complex has been recreated in the Republic of Belarus at the Republican Unitary Enterprise (RUE) "Slutsk Belts." Today, the enterprise successfully produces high-precision replicas and artistic analogues of 18th- and 19th-century belts using innovative jacquard equipment. However, a persistent challenge in modern textile design remains a certain stagnation in the artistic evolution of this tradition. Over the past decades, efforts have primarily focused on duplicating historical specimens and manufacturing souvenir products. This article explores the artistic design and implementation of a belt from the contemporary original collection "Paparats-kvetka" (Fern Flower), which is based on an original ornamental fern motif while maintaining the item's canonical composition. An original design was developed through an analysis of historical and technological production characteristics. The belt project was realized using MAGEBA jacquard equipment, showcasing the potential for preserving cultural heritage within modern textile design.
