Abstract
The results of the study of the type and consumption of binder and plasticizers and their effect on the physical-and-chemical characteristics of composite materials produced with the use of chrome shavings are presented. The influence of the drying parameters of composites on their properties is considered. The absence of chromium compounds in water extracts of composites, confirming the environmental safety of new composite materials, has been established.
