Elements of ethnic symbols and color are actively being introduced into modern fashion trends. This trend is observed in many contemporary collections of famous designers and brands striving to create unique, memorable, sought-after collections that reflect the identity and diversity of cultural heritage. This article examines the method of integrating folk art into the modern fashion industry of light industry products. The analysis of traditional costumes and folk ornaments of Central Asia is carried out. The work of modern designers who are inspired by folk art and fine arts when creating author's collections is studied. The most demanded and popular neural networks today, where artificial intelligence (AI) is used as an auxiliary tool, are considered. AI has helped to reduce the time spent on routine processes and significantly expanded the field of creativity of the designer in the process of artistic design. The symbiosis of traditional and innovative technologies has contributed to the interpretation of folk art into a modern author's collection of shoes and accessories.
